In Lausanne, Wisdom Tree Education welcomes children ages 4 to 12 into a small, caring, and bilingual (French–English) environment.
We offer a Montessori approach for children ages 4–6, then for the ages 6–12 based on the Plan d’études romand (PER), the official curriculum of French-speaking Switzerland, and enrich it with elements of the French and British curricula. Small groups, individualized support, and hands on learning: we aim to provide children with an environment where they can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace.

Welcome to our unique learning environment
Our center is a place where personal growth, discovery, and learning come together harmoniously. French and English, an early start with Montessori, and an ambitious curriculum in a warm and welcoming school like a second home where your child is known, supported, and gently encouraged, day after day.
Our vision
We aim to nurture love of learning, curiosity and self-awareness in our children by providing an environment that supports educational excellence with focused activities built around investigation, learning through play and social development.
We use a synergistic educational approach rooted in traditional methods such as Montessori, storytelling, and nature-based spiritual and physical activities. We incorporate the benefits of multilingualism, mindfulness, daily outdoor activities, and a low teacher-to-student ratio to maximize neurological development.
Child follow-up
With about 7 to 8 children per teacher, we can take the time to get to know each child, follow their progress, and identify their needs. Each student benefits from a learning plan tailored to their level, pace, and goals.
The teaching staff regularly follow each child's progress so they can support and encourage them and offer new challenges when they are ready.
Two languages
French and English are part of everyday life.
Children are exposed to French and English throughout the day, both during lessons and in everyday activities and interactions.
The goal is to foster a natural use of both languages by giving children enough time and practice to gradually improve their comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency.
Strong roots, sturdy branches
A Montessori approach to start with, followed by a structured Swiss curriculum.
The early years are based on Montessori principles, with a particular focus on independence, hands-on learning, concentration, and the joy of learning.
As children grow older, they transition to a structured and rigorous Swiss curriculum , which allows them to build on their knowledge and develop the skills they need for the rest of their academic journey.
Special education teachers
A team with complementary skills.
The children are supervised by bilingual classroom teachers, with input from specialists in various fields: science, coding and robotics, visual arts, music, German, and physical education.
This organization allows children to explore different disciplines with people who have the necessary knowledge and experience in their fields.

This support is also available to families.
Each child's work and progress are compiled in an online portfoliothat is accessible to the family.
It provides a concrete way to track one’s progress throughout the year: completed projects, assignments, new skills, and the various stages of one’s learning.
It's also an easy way for parents to better understand what their child is doing at school and to see how their child is progressing over time.

Our Offices
Nestled in a charming two-story historic home in the heart of Lausanne’s Avenue de Montagibert neighborhood, our facility offers a warm and welcoming environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive at their own pace. Our center is equipped with a full range of Montessori materials that emphasize hands-on learning, designed to stimulate children’s natural curiosity. Our teachers are qualified French and English speakers, trained in the Montessori method and other child-centered teaching approaches.
Our learning activities are not limited to the classroom. We take advantage of local parks, the lake, play areas, public facilities such as the excellent local pools, museums, wildlife excursions and the numerous walking and hiking trails.
